Clinical Benefits

Promotes the growth of infant commensal flora populations. Maternal gut microbiota has a significant impact on infant microbiome and health. Commensal microbiota colonisation is initiated by contact with vaginal microflora during birth, and matures under breast milk and environmental influences. Probiotic strains are transferred from mother to infant via human colostrum and milk during breastfeeding, providing a continuous supply of commensal and potential probiotic bacteria to the infant gut.11
Assists behavioural complaints in later childhood (when taken during pregnancy and infancy). A randomised control trial (RCT) of 159 mother-baby pairs taking 10 billion LGG daily (prenatally until 6 months) found by 13 years an absence of behavioural complaints, compared to 17% of the control group.12
Maternal glucose metabolism. Up to 10% of pregnant women experience glucose transport problems.14 An RCT of 10 billion CFU of BB-12 and LGG was shown to assist maternal glucose metabolism during pregnancy,15 while 2011 research found that LGG and BB-12 reduced the occurrence of weight gain following childbirth.16

Directions
Directions: Pregnant and breastfeeding women:
Take 1 capsule daily to support baby's development
Take 1 capsule twice daily for maternal health.
Infants (from birth):
Empty the contents of 1 capsule and mix with breast milk, formula or water once daily to support baby's gut flora and immune health.

Our packages are non-signature parcels unless requested. If you are not at home, the courier driver typically leaves the parcel at the door or close by. Alternatively, they will leave a card to call. If we are delivering to a business, please provide the business name in the delivery address.
Damaged or Missing parcels
If your products did not reach you in perfect condition, please notify us as soon as possible and we will endeavour to sort out the issue. Please do not return the damaged goods without notifying us first as we will need to make arrangements for the return from our end. Please keep any packaging and damaged items as is, as these are required for the claim process.
